Pacific

Pacific

From a cliff above La Jolla, California, the Pacific reveals itself in three pure bands — deep teal water darkening toward navy, a single breaking wave of white foam, translucent green shallows over sand below. No sky. No horizon. No reference point except the sea itself, filling the frame with a color so saturated it reads almost as abstraction. This is the ocean reduced to its essential geometry: depth, movement, shore. Shot from elevation, it offers a perspective most people never find — the wave seen not from beside it, but from above, calm and inevitable and endlessly repeated.
