In Vino
A wine rack in a Krakow restaurant, shot from above — and suddenly architecture, geometry, and abundance converge into something dizzying and beautiful. The warm amber lattice of hand-crafted wood recedes into a vanishing point, bottle after bottle held in perfect formation, red capsules punctuating the warm wood like notes on a score. This is a photograph about order and pleasure in equal measure — the serious craft of storage in service of the serious pleasure of drinking. In a restaurant or wine bar it would be practically perfect. In a home it brings warmth, sophistication, and the quiet suggestion that life should include more good wine.
